What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
• Facilitate patients' access into hospital and clinical systems
• Provide scheduling, pre-registration, insurance verification, and collection of payment for services
• Knowledge of third party payors
• Primary customer service contact
• Maintain confidential information
What Is Required (Qualifications)
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Associates degree preferred
• Minimum of 1-3 years experience in Registration, Hospital Billing and Scheduling preferred
• Certified Healthcare Access Associate preferred
• Insurance verification experience
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
• 0-2 years of experience in a healthcare-related service
• Knowledge of Insurance billing practices
