Accounting Associate/Staff Accountant

Salary: From $80,000 per year depending on experience

Laura A Barwick CPA, LLC (BarwickCPA) is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in Bel Air, Maryland. As a member of Barwick CPA, you will work directly with entrepreneurs and managers of small to medium sized businesses. You will be providing sound business advice that enable these individuals to focus their efforts on the growth and success of their enterprise.

We are in search of an accountant who possesses the ability to build relationships with our clients and deliver the level of service Barwick CPA is known for.

Responsibilities: • Prepare federal, state, & local income tax returns for individuals and businesses • Research and respond to tax notices • Prepare financial statements • Prepare sales tax returns • Provide bookkeeping services including general ledger postings and bank reconciliations • Comply with deadline requirements of engagements

Education:
• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:
• Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)
• Financial Services: 1 year (Preferred)
• QuickBooks Desktop and/or QuickBooks Online (Preferred)
• Ultra Tax CS or similar professional tax preparation package.
