Hybrid Senior Accountant - Remote | WFH Opportunity
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our esteemed team for a 6-month temporary engagement. This hybrid position allows for a flexible work arrangement consisting of three days in the office and two days working remotely each week.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise the monthly closing procedures, including the posting of journal entries and the preparation of flux analyses.
Develop amortization schedules and manage revenue recognition processes effectively.
Record straight-line revenue and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
Prepare and assess rent packages to guarantee consistency and precision.
Conduct reconciliations and contribute to comprehensive monthly financial statements.
Required Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, specifically with VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
Familiarity with MRI or similar accounting software is beneficial.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate general ledger (GL) accounting.
Experience in REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) accounting is highly desirable.
