Job Description:
As a Benefits Representative, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our union members receive the best possible benefits packages. You will serve as a point of contact for union members, guiding them through the enrollment process, answering questions, and assisting with any benefits-related concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist members with benefits inquiries, enrollment, and changes.
- Explain benefits options and provide guidance to help members make informed decisions.
- Conduct benefits meetings for new members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve benefits-related issues in a timely manner.
- Act as a liaison between members and our main office .
- Participate in open enrollment processes and communicate changes effectively.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in benefits administration or a related field is a plus!
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, dedicated, and able to work independently.
- Team player with a customer-centric approach.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in using zoom and adequate knowledge of computers
