About the position
As a Senior Product Manager for Inventory Insights & Acquisition at Target, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the operational efficiency and financial accuracy of our inventory management systems. This position is designed for a strategic thinker who can leverage technology and data analytics to drive product planning and delivery. You will be responsible for the Inventory Insights Acquisition pipeline, utilizing your expertise to integrate machine learning and artificial intelligence recommendations to streamline inventory adjustments. Your work will directly impact our ability to maintain stock levels and ensure that our Omnichannel Guests have access to the products they love. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data science, software engineering, and data engineering, to establish a robust scrum structure that fosters best practices in product management. You will be the voice of the product, ensuring that daily inventory adjustments are accurate and that our operational and financial requirements are met. Your ability to visualize and implement efficient processes will be crucial in delivering a better experience for both guests and team members. You will also be tasked with developing a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap, setting key business objectives (OKRs) for your product. This involves leveraging customer feedback and relevant data points to assess value, develop business cases, and prioritize the direction of your product. As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead a product team, working in unison with engineers, UX designers, data scientists, and business partners to deliver a product that meets the needs of our stakeholders. Your role will require you to maintain a product backlog that outlines customer themes, epics, and stories, prioritizing the highest impact work for your team. You will encourage open communication and inspire your team to achieve challenging goals while fostering a sense of urgency to overcome obstacles. Responsibilities
? Take ownership of the Inventory Insights Acquisition pipeline.

? Integrate ML/AI recommendations to streamline inventory adjustments.

? Ensure daily accurate inventory adjustments to maintain stock levels for Omnichannel Guests.

? Develop a comprehensive product strategy and related roadmap.

Requirements
? Four-year degree or equivalent experience.

? 6 years of product management experience or equivalent domain experience, preferably in data science, data analysis, stakeholder management, A/B statistical testing, and inventory defect management.

? Experience with technology and ability to facilitate communication between business and technology teams.

? Experience working in an agile environment (e.g., user stories, iterative development, scrum teams, sprints, personas).
