About The Role
We are seeking a Senior Partner Account Manager to strategically grow and deepen relationships with key partners within Altitude by Geotab. This role focuses on driving partner engagement, increasing product adoption, and elevating Geotab’s market position through collaboration with systems integrators, resellers, platform partners, and solution providers. You will serve as a trusted advisor, managing day-to-day interactions, developing joint business strategies, and supporting partners to achieve mutual revenue and market growth objectives. The role requires close coordination with internal teams including marketing, product development, finance, and business development.
- Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture relationships with a portfolio of large, strategic partners to drive revenue growth and product adoption
- Equip partners with tools, training, and resources to effectively position and sell Geotab solutions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to align sales strategies and support partner expansion efforts
- Provide partners with market insights, product updates, and business recommendations to maximize success
- Analyze sales data and partner performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify growth opportunities
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance reports, and market trend analyses to leadership
- Maintain accurate partner activity records in Salesforce
- Conduct regular business reviews and maintain strong communication to build trust and brand value
- Coach partners through training sessions, webinars, product demonstrations, and customer engagements
- Support onboarding and deployment planning alongside Pilots & Implementation teams
- Partner with marketing to maximize co-marketing initiatives and lead generation efforts
- Attend industry events and trade shows to promote Geotab’s brand and identify new partnership opportunities
- Mentor team members, new hires, and interns as needed
- Qualifications
- 8 to 10 years of technical sales experience, preferably within channel sales and partner management
- Proven track record managing diverse partner relationships, including systems integrators, resellers, and solution providers
- Strong sales acumen with experience in prospecting, negotiation, closing deals, and managing customer relationships
- Ability to travel up to 50%; valid passport required
- Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering end-user value
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities
- Skilled at building long-term, trust-based relationships with partners
- Deep product knowledge and the ability to convey technical information effectively
- Market awareness of trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
- Proficient in data analysis to drive strategic decisions
- Strong problem-solving skills to address partner conflicts and market challenges
