California Exterminators Alliance is a small business in Kelseyville, CA, offering pest and weed control services for residential and commercial customers who want to remove things that bug them like ants, spiders, earwigs, rodents, and pesky seasonal weeds. We’re locally-owned small business since 1938. We are based in Kelseyville and provide services to Lake, Mendocino, Napa, and Sonoma counties.

We are looking to hire another multi-tasking support person to provide outstanding customer service and keep the office rolling. We use a paperless system to support our customers and technicians as we keep our community safe from pests and weeds. You should be familiar with a variety of office applications and platforms. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer and management inquiries, and maintain high customer satisfaction through accuracy and attention to detail. Ultimately, you will help establish fabulous relationships by offering excellent customer support during all facets of service.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up accounts, assisting customers in resolving technical issues and troubleshooting any issues. Our support team is committed to ensuring customers are completely satisfied. We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, an outgoing personality, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow with our team!
- Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries.
- Provide sales, service, or technical assistance to customers over the phone.
- Train other employees on proper customer service skills.
- Handling customer concerns by providing resolutions to problems.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and chats from customers.
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through good communication.
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information using the right methods/tools.
- Record keeping and accurate documentation.
- Process all incoming mail including checks for service accounts.
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies.
- Assist with other duties as assigned as we are a small and mighty office.
- Skills:
- Proven customer support experience in an office environment.
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Customer-forward ability to respond to different needs and communication styles
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with attention to details
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Ability to take direct feedback and modify techniques
- High School degree; College experience preferred
- Possess a valid CA driver's license with a clean driving record
- Familiarity with the pest control industry is a plus
- Ability to quickly learn existing processes and procedures
- Experience in Excel, Google-based applications, and customer relationship management software.
- Physical Requirements:
- Climbing, Stooping, Crouching, Reaching, Sitting, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Finger Dexterity, Grasping, Feeling, Talking, Hearing, Repetitive Motion.
- Light work. Exerting force up to 20 lbs. occasionally, 10 lbs. frequently, and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
