Job Description The Strategic Advisor Associate, Healthcare will support Blue Cross NC’s innovative vision for Health Care value transformation through unwavering commitment to quality, affordability, and exceptional experience. Assist with analysis, evaluation and planning needed to achieve the organization’s goals through new forms of healthcare reimbursement, medical expense analysis, quality data strategy, healthcare/pharmacy program design and development, payer/provider engagement, network contracting support and/or market offer opportunities. Assists with critical activities such as strategic planning, development, and financial/qualitative data analysis for value transformation and/or other Health Care initiatives. Work with Health Care team members and other business owners to help identify, evaluate, and implement initiatives and programs to support organizational and divisional objectives. Support the organization and presentation of information regarding strategic concepts, initiative planning, quality data, medical expense/reimbursement rates, provider performance metrics and/or impact assessments. Assist with analysis and monitoring of industry, regulatory, technology and market-based trends that affect divisional operations, provider reimbursement, medical expense/pharmacy/quality strategy and overall payer-provider dynamics. Consolidate and distill information and outputs from research, work meetings and program discussions as needed. Supports efforts for operational improvements with new analysis/reporting capabilities, project management techniques and/or consulting/engagement approaches. Provides pharmacy support to our Sales partners. Assists with pharmacy financial analysis. Hiring Requirements Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required) 0-2 years of experience in related field. In lieu of degree, 3+ years of experience in related field. Preferred Skill Proficiency in Excel. Experience with Sales support. Compensation decisions are driven by factors including experience and training, specialized skill sets, licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs.
