About the position
The Interactive Art Director at Apple Marcom is responsible for leading projects across various digital platforms, ensuring the development and execution of high-quality marketing communications. This role involves collaborating with internal and external teams to enhance customer experiences through effective design and delivery of interactive content.
- Responsibilities
- Updating and maintaining Apple.com pages and iOS/HTML global platforms in Apple Retail Stores and Channel partner stores. ,
- Troubleshooting new ideas or executions as needed and optimizing content for new product initiatives. ,
- Leading designers in day-to-day design tasks and working with producers to meet deadlines. ,
- Leading presentations of the work internally to explain progress and ideas. ,
- Agency oversight of design output and suggesting process and template improvements. ,
- Replicating existing processes for file handoff to engineering teams, documentation, and design specs.
- Requirements
- 7+ years of industry experience in interactive/digital marketing communications industry. ,
- A portfolio that showcases visual design for web, mobile, and/or app design. ,
- Highly proficient in the formal elements of design, including typography, layout, balance, hierarchy, proportion, rhythm, emphasis, and unity. ,
- Excellent communication and presentation skills across internal teams with the ability to speak to both creative and technical audiences.
- Nice-to-haves
- Sketch and Photoshop expertise, showing various digital layouts, typography use, viewports, and/or process and role played in achieving various designs displayed in portfolio. ,
- Experience with front-end web and mobile development, including HTML, CSS, and/or iOS. ,
- Experience with Principle and After Effects.
