About the position
The Sr. Account Manager for Business Sales at Verizon is responsible for driving sales and managing customer relationships within a designated territory. This role focuses on delivering innovative business solutions that enhance connectivity and support technology evolution for clients. The position requires a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities, retaining existing accounts, and effectively presenting tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
- Responsibilities
- Identifying, developing, and qualifying leads within the territory to drive additional sales opportunities. ,
- Gaining new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets. ,
- Retaining, managing, and growing the existing customer base. ,
- Coordinating with support partners to educate customers about innovative business solutions. ,
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with key decision makers. ,
- Effectively presenting multi-product solution opportunities to clients. ,
- Demonstrating a knowledgeable understanding of wireless and mobility products and integrated software solutions. ,
- Tracking and reporting progress using sales force automation tools.
- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. ,
- Four or more years of relevant work experience in outside sales, prospecting, and negotiation. ,
- Willingness to work in a mobile working model with travel within the assigned geographic sales territory. ,
- Valid driver's license.

- A degree - Associates or Bachelor's Degree or certifications/college courses. ,
- Two or more years of business-to-business or outside sales experience, including business acquisition and prospecting/cold calling. ,
- Technology sales experience, including SaaS sales experience, CRM, SalesForce, or other client management tools. ,
- Strong presentation skills in both face-to-face and virtual environments. ,
- Experience in building and maintaining business relationships with all levels of client organizations. ,
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment.
