Join Cummins as a summer Legal Intern, supporting Corporate Business with diverse legal work and mentorship.
Your Role:
- Key responsibilities include:
- Perform legal research and analysis
- Draft contracts using templates and established procedures
- Attend commercial negotiations, mediations, and client meetings
- Lead legal projects and process improvements
- Examine legal data to determine strategies
- Analyze potential outcomes of cases, legislation, and regulation
About You:
- To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- Action-oriented
- Balance stakeholders and/or different stakeholder interests
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Intellectual curiosity and personal integrity
- Current student in an ABA approved Law School
- Full-time enrolled student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
- Minimum 2.5 GPA preferred
- Ability to complete a 10-12 week commitment with no interruptions
- Ability to complete 40 hours per week
- Demonstrate collaborative skills
