    Description:
  • Sales Representative to support and drive profitable membership growth in the self-funded market.
  • Develops strategy, distribution, and collaboration with local market Aetna teams to target clients who prefer a TPA value proposition.
  • Responsible for new sales growth for Meritain Health, an Aetna Company in their local market.
  • Support all Meritain sales efforts to solve benefit challenges using customized self-funded solutions.
  • Works through the external broker community to promote and develop the Meritain brand in the local market.
  • Establish local market partnerships with Aetna sales teams and sales leaders to maximize the Aetna distribution channel.
  • Identify products, services, and strategies that solve challenges for TPA clients.
  • Collaborates with internal partners and/or external constituents to uncover profitable growth and cross-sell opportunities within new or existing customers.
    Requirements:
  • Life & Health Insurance license or must obtain the license within 90 days from the employment start date
  • Sales and/or Account Management experience
  • Prior Health Insurance experience (employee benefits)
  • Travel required 30% (within market)
  • Sales administration, support, reporting
  • High level of computer proficiency including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office package
  • Salesforce experience (preferred)
  • Prior Broker industry experience (Employee benefits) (preferred)
  • Active Health & Life License (preferred)
  • Previous Health Carrier sales experience (preferred)
