Lung cancer victims often contact us looking for opportunities for financial support to help pay for medical bills, travel to clinics, etc. To help them, Cancer Monthly provides information on law firms that handle these types of cases.
Job Description
As a Patient Advocate Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for new patients that inquire about receiving compensation for their lung cancer diagnosis. This includes conducting in-depth intakes on the patient’s background and building relationships and trust. You must be a very compassionate and patient individual that has experience working with elderly demographics.
Responsibilities
· Conduct intakes of new patients as soon as the patient inquiry is submitted via phone
· Following up via email, calls, and texts
· Educating patients and their families, if necessary, on the compensation process
· Creating detailed submission documents for review by law firms
· Getting clarification from patient and their family on work history, medical diagnosis, etc.
Qualifications
· 5+ years of experience in the elderly care or health space
· 5+ years in sales or customer service
· Ability to work flexible hours during the work week to accommodate patient schedules
Preferred
· 5+ years of remote work experience
· 5+ years of phone-based, remote sales or customer service experience

Pay: $3,500.00 - $7,500.00 per month
