Location: Remote

Pay: $135,000.

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Employment Logistics

The Sr Manager of IT Operations is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and operation of DIM scanning equipment. This role involves managing a team of technicians and coordinating with other departments, including vendors, to enhance customer trust by ensuring DIM scanning equipment is within legal tolerance to collect revenue.

The Must-Haves
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in management
• Strong knowledge of low voltage systems, badge access control, burglary alarms, and CCTV technology
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage cross-functional teams
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Relevant certifications in security systems or low voltage technology are preferred

Your Mission In Motion
• Oversee the daily operations of DIM scanning equipment, installations and maintenance
• Manage IT Hub Support Technicians, providing training and support as needed
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for system operations and emergency responses
• Coordinate with IT and facilities departments to integrate new dimensional scanning equipment with existing infrastructure
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure functionality and compliance to collect revenue
• Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts and overseeing service level agreements
• Stay informed of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in security systems

Paving Your Way To Your Success
• Consults and coordinates with the Director of IT Support, Finance, Maintenance and Sr. Director of Infrastructure
• Technical knowledge of commonly used programs such as AutoCAD LT, Ultra VNC Viewer, Genius and DataMan
• Proficiency in Windows applications: Word and Excel
• Strong understanding of DIM scanning equipment, specifically Mettler, Cognex, Datalogics and SICK
• Strong understanding of the fundamentals in networking and data communications
• Direct experience programming and calibrating Mettler devices is a plus, along with the understanding of safety protocol for conveyor systems
• A high level of customer service
• Oral and written communication proficiency is necessary to complete various tasks
• Ability to communicate and interface with many types of people
• Analytical, organizational, and planning skills are required
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
