Sr IT Support Specialist

    Position Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Information Technology (IT) operations across the assigned territory, lead local and enterprise-wide IT projects, mentor and guide IT Support Specialists, and develop and implement IT processes and procedures
  • Participate in continuous improvement practices in technology to ensure the delivery of effective and professional customer service and develop procedures with field IT manager as well as the corporate IT service center
  • Act as project manager on local projects and smaller enterprise-wide projects as well as provide applications support including RAS software, selling and delivery, and routing and dispatch
  • Provide testing on new or updated applications, helping to implement, deploy, and support corporate wide solutions while assisting field IT manager in assembling annual budget for assigned territory
  • Provide help desk training and technical direction to business unit IT Support Specialists on new technologies
  • Other duties as assigned
    Required Education and Experience:
  • Associate Degree with 3 to 4 plus years of related experience with desktop support or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED) and 5 plus years of specific experience
  • 2 plus years of experience supporting end users and systems, both on-site and remotely (XP, Win7, OSX Leopard and later, Citrix, MS Products, Managing MS Exchange 2007/2010 and A/D accounts
    Preferred Education And Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Audio/Video knowledge (DirecTV and Comcast)
