Develop and implement data governance strategies to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of our data assets.
Oversee the management of our data assets, including data quality, data security, and data privacy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and maintain data standards, policies, and procedures.
Lead the development and implementation of data governance tools and processes to improve data management efficiency.
Monitor and report on data governance and management metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data governance and management, and proactively recommend and implement new initiatives to enhance our data capabilities.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and develop solutions to meet their requirements.
Provide guidance and support to data governance and management team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data systems and infrastructure align with data governance standards.
Use data analysis and insights to drive strategic decision-making and support business growth.
Communicate the value and importance of data governance and management to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Represent American Express in industry events and conferences, building relationships and promoting our data governance and management initiatives.
