The Database Specialist position at Express Employment is a full-time role focused on managing and processing donations within a donor database for a non-profit organization. The role involves ensuring accurate data entry, maintaining donor records, and generating necessary documentation to support fundraising efforts. - Responsibilities
- Accurately enter and manage gifts in the donor database, including various donation types and payments. ,
- Set up new gift batches and process donations within 24-48 hours, ensuring proper coding. ,
- Create tribute accounts and manage matching gift donations. ,
- Generate tax receipts for all donors promptly. ,
- Maintain and update constituent records based on new information. ,
- Create mailing lists for appeals, events, and newsletters. ,
- Conduct regular CRM maintenance to ensure data integrity. ,
- Respond to donor inquiries via phone and email. ,
- Perform additional data entry and projects as needed. ,
- Run queries and reports to support various departments. ,
- Organize donor lists for events and manage CRM automation.
- Requirements
- 2+ years in gift processing and CRM management ,
- Previous experience in a Non-Profit is required ,
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail ,
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and clerical accuracy ,
- Professional demeanor with strong communication skills ,
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently ,
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) ,
- Enthusiastic about technology and continuous learning.
