Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain and deploy web applications
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional team to ensure applications align with the client requirements
• Oversee the performance of web apps and optimize to ensure functionality and performance
• Improve overall application development process and keep upgrading
• Carry out regular performance checks and monitor security threats

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of experience in web application development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
• Profound experience in developing... software using high-level programming languages including JavaScript, Python, .NET, PHP, Java, etc.
• Solid understanding of core programming principles, including design patterns
• Sound knowledge of web applications and web services, including APIs, CSS, HTML, jQuery, security principles, REST, SOAP, and web UI design
• Expertise in content management systems, including WordPress and Drupal
• Prior working experience in Windows and Linux environments
• Fluency in English language for effective communication
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
