We are currently seeking a proactive and people-oriented part-time Human Resources Assistant to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with our Human Resources Manager and contribute to sourcing top talent. If you’re passionate about connecting with people and helping to shape a thriving remote team, we’d love to have you apply!

Responsibilities: • Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews • Conduct candidate interviews • Onboard new team members • Use social media networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, etc) to look for and connect with potential candidates • Review online portfolios and resumes to pre-screen candidates • Collaborate with the hiring manager to identify each position’s requirements • Send recruiting emails and follow up with candidates • Develop a network of potential candidates • Log candidate information in our Applicant Tracking System and other internal databases • Proactively source potential hires • Measure and report on recruiting metrics, like source of hire and time-to-fill

Requirements and skills:
• Proven experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant, or relevant human resources/administrative position
• Familiarity with social networks, professional sites, and resume databases
• Fast computer typing skills (MS Office, in particular)
• Familiarity with ATS software and resume databases
• Basic knowledge of labor laws
• Excellent organizational skills
• Good time-management skills
• Strong communications skills

Note:
• Please note that this is a 1099 contractor position.
• This is a REMOTE position
• You will also need to complete a background check before contracting with us.
• We're seeking applicants who are available during normal business hours, which are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. This is not a position that you can do in addition to a full-time job - the work is not project-based.
• Please note: We are not currently hiring applicants in MT, PA, NY, NJ & CA. Applicants residing in these states will not be considered for contracting with us at this time.
